Designed and developed by The Bright Place, the Cannes Lions app is loaded with features to help you navigate your way around both the festival and the city of Cannes. When you first open the app, you will land on the Dashboard page where you can view a “What’s hot” list of recommendations on what you can do at that very moment, a countdown clock to the start of the event, a Cannes social media news feed, a list of best places to eat and visit while in this luxurious city, and a comprehensive dictionary of all things you may need to know throughout the festival.
On the Guide page, you can access a schedule of the weeklong festival. Each event listing comes with a description and speaker bio. With so many events taking place, you can filter the schedule based on category and favorite any events that may be of interest. Even if you can’t attend all of the events you hope to, you can still keep track of all the award entries and winners using the Awards page.
The Connect page provides you with a feed of all Cannes Lion news on social media. The fun does not stop there. The Cannes Lions app also includes “Win Cannes,” a massive multiplayer game where attendees can compete for the chance to win a free VIP pass to next year’s festival.
