ExactTarget Partners with Urban Airship to Power MobilePush

Yesterday at Connections 2012, ExactTarget unveiled its new MobilePush application powered by Urban Airship. The solution is integrated with the ExactTarget Interactive Marketing Hub and will enable marketers to send push notifications from mobile apps and seamlessly integrate the message with campaigns across email, mobile, social and the Web.
As Urban Airship continues to advance best practices and targeting capabilities of push messaging, partnerships with other marketing technology leaders will be vital to optimize cross-channel customer experiences. For example, with MobilePush marketers will be able trigger relevant push messages based on consumers’ online behaviors or engagement with emails and social channels, as well as view real-time engagement analytics to optimize cross-channel interactions. The solution is expected to become generally available in the fourth quarter of 2012.
