Boost push response rates by 293%
Users opted-in to push are retained at nearly double the rate of those who are not, and have 26% higher average monthly app opens. If push messaging works this well, does targeted push work even better? That’s the primary question we sought to answer in our latest Good Push Index study.
The latest data-dive takes a closer look at the effectiveness of highly targeted messaging versus a broadcast, one size fits all approach. Our findings include:
- Highly targeted push messages drive 293 percent more response on average than broadcast messages (with some verticals achieving nearly 7x greater response)
- Even a single targeting element like location history can dramatically boost message response rates
- Many apps see more users opt in to share their location than opt in to push
